BSD III: Creating Catalyst

Creating Catalyst

Third time’s a charm! While topping the first two Bi-State Development (BSD) Annual Meetings seemed impossible, our team went above and beyond once again to put together the best event yet with the help of some very capable outside talent.

In the early stages of planning BSD’s 2017 Annual Meeting, we helped develop the event’s “Catalyst” theme along with its brand messaging and design elements. The theme and its materials were designed to evoke a catalytic spark igniting a positive reaction or transformation – just as BSD does within the St. Louis region.

Our team contributed to the event by creating a wide range of materials including a comprehensive “Catalyst” magazine, a beautiful feature video, informational e-mails, invitations, print and digital advertising, display banners, and a 50‘ x 10‘ PowerPoint video.

Putting Partnerships to Page

The 36-page Catalyst publication highlighted the many current and future projects of BSD’s five enterprises. This process involved developing content including original articles, facts, figures, bios, and advertisements. The finished product, designed entirely by the Werremeyer Creative team, was given to all guests of this year’s event and will be used for marketing BSD throughout 2018.

Filming the Feature Video

While our writers wrote, our creative director and project manager joined the talented Once Films team in art directing yet another feature video for this year’s Annual Meeting. We directed the photography and interviewing of subjects used for the video and various other marketing materials. After much hard work and various location shoots, Catalyst’s feature video premiered at the event to a rich reception by our client and their guests. We are so proud of the way the video turned out – check it out!

From conceptualization of the event’s theme to creating an informative magazine and short film celebrating BSD’s partnerships, we were delighted to collaborate with so many talented individuals throughout this process.
Event design is just one of the many services we’ve offered our friends at BSD, and we can’t wait to keep collaborating with such a dynamic and driven organization. Planning for next year’s Annual Meeting is right around the corner!
