Matt has worked a variety of positions in content, marketing, communications and media relations over the past 20 years. He joined the Werremeyer Creative team in July 2018 after two years as the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership’s digital content manager.
Matt previously spent 15+ years as a sports industry professional, where he worked full-time for the St. Louis Rams, Morehead State University, Horizon League and Indianapolis Indians. Matt also spent one year at the University of Mississippi after graduating from Ball State University.
An Indianapolis native and Central Indiana resident for nearly 30 years, Matt moved to St. Louis in July 2015. He and his wife, Jenifer, welcomed their first child, Audrey, on March 7, 2018. The couple has heard “your daughter has an amazing head of hair” 5,678 times.
When he’s not at the office working hard for Werremeyer’s clients, Matt can be found watching, reading or talking about all kinds of sports — baseball, basketball, football, etc. He’s a big believer in the Weight Watchers program (yay for losing 50 pounds!) and admittedly has a bad Smoothie King addiction (but there are worse things to be addicted to, right?).
