Voting Is Having A Moment

It’s taken no less than a centennial anniversary, a pandemic, and a historically-unprecedented election to make it happen, but nevertheless, it IS happening. Voting has become a vital, hotly-debated topic in our national conversation, and voters of all political persuasions are being asked to get out and vote. And it’s about time.

100 years ago, the long-overdue 19th Amendment was ratified, at last granting women the hard-fought right to vote. The suffrage movement succeeded in forging significant change. And while we’ve come a long way since 1920, we still have significant voter rights issues to deal with. In other words, our work is not done.

100 Years Later…

In honor of this important centennial anniversary, AIGA, The Professional Association for Design, is recognizing 1920’s historic human-rights victory with a special edition of Get Out the Vote: Empowering the Women’s Vote.

To bring Get Out The Vote to life, AIGA engaged talented female designers and artists from around the country to create vibrant, colorful, completely-original poster art to celebrate, commemorate, contemplate and honor those that fought for the right to be heard, and to drive voters of all ages to the polls 11/3/20.

Be A Part of It

Be a part of this celebration by supporting the artists and downloading their poster art at the AIGA website or take the posters in gallery-style and enjoy them in one sitting, as they’re displayed across the storefront window panes of Werremeyer Creative at 15 N. Gore in Webster Groves.

As a Certified Women-owned Enterprise, Werremeyer Creative is proud to join in recognizing the sacrifices of the women who went before us. Let their efforts serve as a reminder to us all- your vote is your voice.

Let’s be heard November 3rd!

If, like Werremeyer, you believe that celebrating gifted female designers should be a year-round vocation, check out our work at

And by all means, if you’re checking out the art at 15 N. Gore, take a selfie with your favorite poster and share. Tag it at @wearewerremeyer or check in using our location Werremeyer Creative and we’ll make sure you’re seen. And again, make sure you’re heard November 3rd!

Choose Well.
