Magdalene House makes a difference every day by providing housing, support, education, and job training for women who have survived lives of prostitution, violence, or addiction. In 2016, we were asked to help the Magdalene team brand their new social enterprise Bravely—an apparel company providing employment opportunities and emotional empowerment for women transitioning out of unhealthy lifestyles. Bravely’s products convey a campaign of compassion and care for women in need.
We helped build the Bravely brand by designing a logo reflective of their identity as strong women who have overcome remarkable challenges. We created the brand’s color palette, fonts, and tone to communicate a comforting source of honesty and care. We also provided a website strategy and consultation regarding content production and organization for the new website.
We designed the graphics adorning Bravely shirts, hats, bags, and more – all benefiting the organization, and ultimately the women in the Magdalene community. This line of apparel was first revealed in a fashion show profiled by regional media outlets. More than $16,000 was raised in just its first two weeks! If you would like to make a purchase to show your support, you can do so here.
Magdalene House provides care for individuals not often brought to public light. We are proud to give a voice to an organization that gives inspiration to so many who have seemingly lost hope.
